Elegant Czechoslovak glass candle holder produced by Sklo Union – Libochovice glassworks, dated to the 1960s (most likely around 1969).
The candle holder is made from a combination of clear pressed glass and frosted (satin) glass, characteristic of Czech modernist glass design of the period. The most striking feature is the pair of organically sculpted, flowing arms, which contrast beautifully with the geometrically ribbed central base.
The overall design is light, decorative, and timeless, making this piece an ideal accent for mid-century modern, vintage, or Brussels-style interiors.
Condition
Very good vintage condition. No cracks or chips; only minor signs of age consistent with the period.
